Eduardo Navarrete, MD, FACEP | Executive Vice President
Immigrating to the United States from Mexico with his family when he was just eight years old, Dr. Navarrete began working at a young age to assist his family in their new home in California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis. Dr. Navarrete earned his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco School (UCSF) of Medicine and completed his post-graduate work at the University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell and his Emergency Medicine Residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He then relocated to Chicago to begin his career as an Emergency Physician.
John Lund, MD, FACEP | Medical Director | INSIGHT CHICAGO
As a residency-trained and board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Lund brings a wealth of clinical experience to Lake Emergency Partners. He has spent many years in high-acuity, high-volume community and academic Emergency Departments throughout the Chicagoland area. His career has been dedicated to delivering compassionate, professional, and comprehensive emergency medical care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Lund continues to address the diverse needs of patients while fostering an inclusive and effective caring environment.
David Komasara, MD | Medical Director | INSIGHT COLDWATER
David Komasara, DO, FACEP, AOBEM is a highly experienced Emergency Medicine physician, completing his specialized training at the renowned Detroit Medical Center. Beyond the clinical environment, Dr. Komasara maintains a deep commitment to community and preparedness. He actively serves as the MCA Director for his county EMS, while also dedicating time to caring for the local Amish community. Reflecting his focus on self-reliance and education, he lives on a farm where he raises Dexter cattle and hosts scout troops for vital disaster preparedness and wilderness survival training.
